Emad Jamal
Emad Jamal is an 18 year old photographer and graphic artist currently studying chemistry at Hunter College. I intend to use my knowledge of chemistry to explore alternative photographic and artistic processes incorporating science. All of my work is created in my home "studio," which is comprised of a television with a colored screen, a very bright lamp that I found at a garage sale, and recycled materials that I've repurposed as colored reflectors and gels. The driving force behind my work is usually inspiration from music and artwork of other mediums that I surround myself with before and during work sessions.
